The moment you stop patching symptoms is the moment you unleash a workplace that your people genuinely believe in.
You’ve seen it happen before.
A shiny new initiative bursts onto the scene. There are posters in the reception, a high-energy launch, maybe even a string of workshops. For a moment, it feels like something is shifting.
Then weeks later, old habits creep back.
Cynicism spreads like wildfire. Leaders lose faith. Employees often retreat into silence.
It’s not that people don’t care. Or that you haven’t tried.
It’s that most cultural efforts never get past the surface. They tinker with behaviours but don’t tackle the deeper stories that sit at the heart of your organisation.
And so you’re left with the weight of the scepticism, the wasted budget, and the relentless pressure to make the new culture stick.
And there is another way.
Leaders often ask us how to change business culture in a way that lasts, but real transformation doesn’t begin with another policy or away-day. It starts with having the courage to explore.
The actual answers lie in surfacing hidden stories and truly embedding your values into daily practice. Every organisation runs on stories: who we are, why we’re here, what’s holding us back. Some stories ignite us. Others ensnare us and force us into repeating patterns that no strategy can fix.
Yet, when leaders boldly name and reshape these stories, something astonishing happens.
Values stop being words on a wall and become lived, authentic behaviours. Teams stop rolling their eyes at “culture projects” and start owning the change themselves. Leaders stop reacting from fear and start responding with fierce purpose.
That’s when culture stops being a problem to fix and becomes the unstoppable engine for trust, performance, and growth.
That insight changed everything. After years of watching culture programmes spark excitement and then fizzle into silence, the penny dropped. We knew the issue wasn’t willpower, effort, or even leadership intent. The missing piece was courage. It was the mission to uncover hidden stories, assumptions, and systemic patterns that quietly shape behaviour. That’s why we built a radically different approach. One that goes deeper, lasts longer, and liberates organisations from within.
My name is Simon Lamb, founder of Purposeful Change. After walking away from corporate leadership, I made it my mission to help people and organisations transform from the inside out. Since 2015, our team of leadership experts and culture strategists has been active in over 40 countries. We’ve collaborated with companies like Microsoft, HSBC, Shell, and Nike to create lasting culture change based on purpose and trust.
Here’s how it works once you confirm your place:

We begin with surveys, interviews, and systemic tools to surface your current culture.

Your team reconnects around vision, values, and purpose in a safe, facilitated space.

Together, we design a bespoke journey tailored to your desired outcome. It is not a template.
Our Culture Change Workshops Are Never Generic Solutions

We ensure culture isn’t a hollow slogan, but a lived reality. It’s about how to sustain change and fuel growth long after the consultants leave.

My creativity was forged in a turbulent childhood, shaped by constant moves and the need to adapt quickly. This sharpened my ability to read people, build trust fast, and make sense of uncertainty.
Culture isn’t fixed in a single moment, but there is a right moment to begin. If you sense that your organisation is ready, now is the time to start. Together, we’ll uncover the stories shaping your culture and reorient them towards trust, performance, and growth.
